Volunteer Spotlight: Brent Hogancamp

Brent Hogancamp is a house volunteer and special event volunteer. He has been volunteering at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis for two years.  He began volunteering because he wanted to give back in a positive way. Brent recently competed in the St. Jude Marathon and raised over $1,000 in donations.   Brent’s positive attitude, helpful nature and great sense of humor make him a great asset to our volunteer program.   Read More

Family finds a "home-away-from-home" during the holidays

Michelle had seen that her son, seven years old at the time, was suffering from headaches, nausea, and other complications and took him to the hospital. Pittmans Mark 20 Years of Volunteering

What started 20 years ago as a way to help a member of their church congregation is now a monthly tradition for Mike and Kay Pittman. In 1994 a member of their church was staying at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis while receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and they decided to get a group together and travel from West Point, Miss., to cook a meal for the families at Ronald McDonald House.
