At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis Annual Meeting Joe Sharp, Cindie Czech, Betsy Smith and Bridgitte McKinley were announced as new members of the Board of Trustees.
Cindie is co-owner of 14 local Supercuts franchises. Cindie is a long-time supporter of Ronald McDonald House. Cindie has donated the services of Supercuts
stylists to cut residents’ hair once a month for the past 20 years. Cindie has also supported Radiothon and other
Ronald McDonald House special events by allowing event ticket sales and $1 pin-up sales at her
Bridgitte has served as a member of
the Advisory Board and Building & Maintenance Committee for four years. She has provided invaluable professional expertise
on our expansion and renovation projects. Bridgitte is the Central Division Development Manager for McDonald’s
Joe is employed by Stratas Foods and
is VP of the McDonald’s Business Team. Joe has been involved with Ronald McDonald House of Memphis for the past
four years. He and his Stratas employees
cook and serve a meal to the families once a month. Joe has strong managerial, organizational
skills and creativity and is particularly interested in increasing the
fundraising of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.
Betsy and her husband are
McDonald’s Owner/Operators in the Oxford, Miss., area. Betsy was elected by the Memphis Area CoOp to
represent them on the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis Board of Trustees. Betsy is very active in the Oxford community
with the local school district, Chamber of Commerce and her church.
