Volunteer Spotlight: Barbara Grimes

Barbara Grimes is a Ronald McDonald House of Memphis volunteer. She has been volunteering at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis for seven years. Barbara is the founder of G.A.L.S. (Girls at Leisure Society). The group’s focus is to fellowship with friends and volunteer in the community. Barbara and the G.A.L.S. work the 9am – 1pm volunteer shift on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of each month, host breakfast and conduct pantry cleaning/supply closet organizing each quarter.  Barbara has a great personality, excellent organizational skills and helpful spirit which make her a great asset to our volunteer program. Barbara recently retired from International Paper and plans to travel and continue volunteering with the G.A.L.S.
