Chefs in the House

After their child has endured a long day of chemotherapy, radiation and tests at St. Jude, families come back to Ronald McDonald House stressed and too exhausted to even think about what they’re going to cook for dinner.

Through the generosity of the community we’re able to provide dinners to the families a few nights per week. We’d like to be able to fill our calendar with dinners provided by the community. We’re reaching out to our friends in the restaurant community for help in making this happen through the Chefs in the House program to help fill our calendar with great local meals.

What our families have to say about the meals provided:

  • “There were so many groups that brought meals, I rarely had to cook which freed me up to take care of my child”.
  • “We love the meals.  Especially after a long day of appointments at the hospital”.
  • “The groups that provide meals are a huge blessing and we are grateful”.
