said Jill Crocker, Executive Director of RMHC®-Memphis
“RMHC provides the gift of togetherness during a family health crisis. RMHC is grateful for the opportunity to serve with the West Tennessee partners that have helped to make this opportunity possible: West Tennessee Healthcare, Hunt Properties, GP and Le Bonheur Children’s.”
Hunt Properties is currently constructing the new Hyatt Place hotel on the corner of West Forrest Avenue and Lambuth Avenue, which is on the campus of West Tennessee Healthcare’s Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House will occupy the 2nd floor and includes 20 rooms, a community kitchen, a living area and a laundry area for families who need a “home-away-from-home” while their children receive medical care.
You’re invited to Pop Tab Palooza on May 9th to support families at RMHC Memphis–Jackson, TN!
Start saving your aluminum pop tabs now and bring them with you to the event — every tab makes a difference!
This year, we’re also hosting a “Stock the House” drive during Pop Tab Palooza to help us gather essential items for the grand opening of the new Jackson House.
RMHC-Memphis now offers big and small pop tab collection boxes that a RMHC Memphis-Jackson, TN representative can deliver to you, or you can collect your tabs in any way you choose.
The money raised from recycling pop tabs goes directly to keeping sick children near the care they need with the family they love.
The highest aluminum concentration is contained in the tab, not in the can. Plus, an aluminum can collection would require much more storage space. Collecting pop tabs is a simple and convenient way to enhance public awareness of the House and its mission while providing funds to support the families who call our house “home.”
